Early McCarran Field c. 1949 or later

The original McCarran Field was located in North Las Vegas, and Alamo Field was established here in the early 40s. When the US Army sought to open a base at the NLV site, Clark County purchased Alamo. Runways 25/7 and 19/1 and were built in 1948 and the new McCarran Field opened 12/19/48.
